A deadly tornado outbreak has left one person dead and caused widespread damage across Oklahoma. The National Weather Service has issued a particularly dangerous situation tornado watch for much of Western and Central Oklahoma, including Oklahoma City.
The tornadoes touched down late Tuesday afternoon and evening, causing significant damage to homes, businesses, and infrastructure. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management reports that at least one person was killed and dozens more were injured.
The National Weather Service is urging residents in the affected areas to take shelter immediately. The tornadoes are moving quickly and are capable of causing significant damage.
