Gabriel Landeskog (2012-Present)

Landeskog, who was named captain at the age of 20, is the longest-serving captain in Avalanche history. He has led the team to a Stanley Cup victory in 2022.

Nathan MacKinnon (2021-Present)

MacKinnon, an alternate captain since 2016, was named co-captain with Landeskog in 2021. He is one of the most dynamic players in the NHL and is considered a future Hall of Famer.
